In-person (Saskatoon and area) High School Homeschooling for critical thinking, life skills and examinations

Who is it for?

Our program is an in-person (Saskatoon and area ) Homeschool Pod for high school students who wish to homeschool in one or more subjects. The teaching program is in two parts; each part starts during the fall and ends in May/June of the following year. Classes for the academic year2023-24 will start 4th Sept 2023 and end May/June 2024. Part 2 will start Fall of 2023 and end May/June of 2024 (for 2024 exams).

After completing Parts 1 and 2, students will be equipped to take the AP (Advanced Placement) exams in their indicated, respective subjects if they choose to do so. They will also be able to challenge other exams such as the Cambridge A levels, CAT or SAT - all of which enable University entry, if that is what the student wishes to pursue. In addition, we will be providing detailed transcripts of all courses taught - and these alone are accepted for University entry in many Universities.

Each student is free to decide whether to take the AP or other examination or whether to rely on transcripts of all our courses. There is no requirement to sit a public examination in order to be a student at the Socratic Homeschool Academy.

More importantly, our students will learn critical thinking and life skills that they will carry with them throughout their lives. And most important of all, we will be teaching with a traditional, Christian world view
